Way to go Mr Prime Minister

The Egyptian Error will cost India much more than the well earned reputation over the years. India has always been suffering from Pak provoked terrorism and has always made it a point to CONDEMN terrorism. Now he has also agreed to delink Mumbai attack case from the talks and include Balochistan, as if it matters more than Mumbai to India.

On global fronts, no terrorism should be spared from being dealt with, but I really wonder, being India's prime minister, how can he agree to this headless appeal!!! It not only earns sympathy for Pak but also puts India into the alleged terrorism favouring countries. The indirect message of the whole story in the easiest derivable format is that India are training terrorists and sending them to Balochistan. The failure of Pakistan's administration seems to have been overshadowed by India's approval, and what is even worse is that India will be blamed for any undesirable incident occurring in Pakistan. Good that Pakistan is not going to the extent of blaming India for Mr Gilani's sneezing nose...

At this occasion I would also like to congratulate our judiciary system. Ajmal Kasab (I don't remember the name well, and anyhow he's not some superhero for whom I should keep my memory occupied) confessed in the mid of the court all his crime and also asked the death penalty, still our judiciary system is not ready to sentence him death.

One spoiled fanatic killed so many people (Please don't ask for SABOOT aur GAVAAH, the ppt of him standing with a gun and killing people will have been seen by more than a million people by now) and dared to question the security of the world's greatest democracy and PROUD owner of the third best defense in the world. It was not a mere attack, it was an open invitation to thousands of more terrorists in pipeline to come to India and give a golden touch to their CAREER in terrorism, it was a threat posed to the nation's security, or rather courage.

As the character played by Naseeruddin Shah in the movie A Wednesday says they did ask us this question HUM TO YAHI KARENGE, AUR KARTE RAHENGE, AAP KYA KAR LENGE???
Correct, hum kya karenge? We will CONDEMN the act of terrorism, will call it antinational, will make a committee to investigate (which will submit the report after the culprit has died of natural death or increased age), and will wait for another incident to happen and will wait for forming another committee. That's all we do.

After killing so many people and enjoying media attention for so long, that brutal terrorist is still alive, does he have a right to breathe on this earth? He's polluting our planet. Once we have got necessary information from him, it is dangerous to keep him alive, it is like spreading red carpet for more and more IC 814s being hijacked, more and more Indians being killed on board in the hijacked plane and releasing the terrorist so that he can comfortably kill more Indians.

I remember the Holocaust. Hitler was advised that to kill one Jew, spending one bullet will take German economy to the dumpyard, and so they devised a cheaper way of killing people. GAS CHAMBER. For Hitler, one Jew life was cheaper than a bullet. With my heart doomed and eyes wet, I think, an ordinary Indian's life doesn't seem to be precious enough in the view point of the administration, otherwise these delays would not have taken place.

Globally India is creating an impression of being the softest targets for massacre.

They'll come and bomb our parliament, we will condemn.

They'll bomb Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Srinagar (and the list goes on...), we will condemn.

They'll plant bombs in hospitals treating bomb blast victims, we will condemn.

They'll attack our places of worship, we will condemn.

They'll intrude into Kashmir, we will condemn.

They'll kill innocent people, kill our kids, rape the women and we will do nothing but condemn.

If that is what our government is doing, if Army, Navy or Air force are not going to be allowed to show their mettle, despite their wish and passion, why should we have them? Keep the borders open and let the terrorists come and kill people...

And everytime the Big Brother Uncle Sam will raise his head and order the children to shut up.

WTC was attacked, and they wrecked the whole Afghanistan, ultimately failing to capture Laden.

If India does the similar thing, it is extremity, it is violence, it is hampering the global peace (as if terrorist attacks on India and Indians are the symbols of global peace).

And I ask another question.

Who is USA to comment on Indo-Pak relations, or rather why should our leaders always head to them?

India is an independent republic country and capable to think the good and bad of its own.

Mumbai was attacked on 26/11/2008, I had gone to Chennai Central railway station on 29/11/2008 and not to my surprise, I wasn't checked, I was simply let in, the security officials didn't even have the smallest of doubts that someone could carry objectionables. If this is the kind of security provided to a metro city, let's hope the country to be blessed.

  2. Personally, i am not totally agree with your views but they are really thought provoking.

As far as baluchistan case is concerned our respected primeminister had not accepted that india was involved in any such terroring kind of activities. He had strongly denied for this and asked for the evidence in this regard. The statement made by him was " india has no interest in destablishing pakistan nor do it harbour any ill intent towards pakistan". India is ready for a dialogue on any such issues.

Very well said by Mr.Manmohan singh that india will follow a policy of " trust but verify ". This is the wettiest solution for this.

We should create harmony with our neighbours though they are like anything. We should make them feel guilty for their deeds.
IF we will stick to our morals and virtues such as non-violance,truth etc pakistan has to change itself. And the positive thing is that " Pakistan is changing now".It has given dossier which reveals all the details of regarding planning, finance and all of this mumbai attacks. So if someone wants to change we should give him one more chance. May be many will not agree with me.

And i am not saying that we should wait and sit idle till pakistan change. We should keep strong watch on their activities simultaneously. So we will never be fool. We have to make our intelligence and defence system so strong that no such attacks will happen by any how in future.
We all depends upon the foriegn technologies for this. And they are supplying obsolete technologies to us at very high cost. So we should be innovative in this sense and make ourself self reliant. We should invent new technologies for Army, Navy and Airforce. This is something out of topic and one seperate post needed for this.

And Manmohan singh has strongly denied for any interference of any country for any issue.

  4. Sorry, the deleted post had some typographical error. Here goes the same content.

    @Arya
I may be a little ignorant of what you said, but the PM agreed to include something in talks that is baseless. He has not agreed that India are encouraging terrorism in Balochistan, but that is the message that goes to one and all.

Indian Navy is buying battle ships sent to scrap by Russia, we are not self reliant when it comes to fighter planes, then what is DRDO for? If after 60 years of independence we can't be independent in true sense, the independence looks foggy.

When Bangladesh was formed, RAW was at its best, why it is not so effective now? Why we have to depend on shepherds to tell us that Pakistan has intruded into Kargil? May be no PM had it in him after Mrs Indira Gandhi?

We should give Pakistan a chance. But how many?
Bombing some country's parliament is the worst than can happen on the planet earth, still no action, still they wanted to run Delhi Lahore bus service and Samjhauta Express, which was a Samjhauta with nation's security and pride. Parliament attack is the attack on each and every individual, it's an attack on our nationality, on our existence. I don't wonder if Pakistan comes to Delhi and hoists their national flag on our parliament or president house, our leaders may still be waiting for peace and understanding. Wow, what a Samjhauta, I must say............

In the end I'd like to quote a proverb

LAATO KE BHUT BAATO SE NAHI MAANTE

  5. Dear just don't blame Pakistan only. These terrorists have no religion and they just don't belong to ant specific country. There are so many bomb blasts occuring even in pakistan also, who is responsible for that? Who may be behind that but pakistan must not.

I am totally agree with you that Pakistan is providing a shelter to these terrorists. But the things are changing now a days. You must have read the news that they have cancelled all the things which had happened during Musharaf's 2007 Emergency. The parliament attacks etc were happened at the time of Mushraf only. Leadership has been changed over there. This leadership seems to be a bit position. And remember the people from pakistan also don't want any such kind of activities. There are some stupids who are doing this. So attacking pakistan is not justifiable.
And one more point that no one can do anything without help of people of a particular country. We should find out these people first and take steps against them. They are the biggest accuse over terrorists.

The only solution is to improve our own country first than attacking someone else.We should make ethics and morals of every INDIAN for INDIA so strong that they will never work against INDIA. We must encourage the research work to help our Intelligence system,Army, Navy and Airforce. We should do research to increse the standard of livig of our country. These should be our Priority.

  6. Brilliant post Ashu keep them coming.
I completely agree with all your points and would just like to say a few things in support

    1. I think US in a way dictates India because we allow them to. In this regard we have a great example of Israel. Israels size is probably even smaller than UP. It is surrounded by enemies on 3 sides and the other side has water. But still no one dares to touch that country. I remember once some of its athletes were killed by a rival. It didnot condemn this act. It didnot ask US or anyone for anything. It simply went and attacked the rival and killed 4 or 5 times the number of Israeli people killed.Hence today also no one dares to do anything to Israel.

    2. Recently I was watching a leading news channel and the topic was should Kasab be hanged. One fellow was arguing that death penalty should not be given to anyone and that it is against human rights. I will only say that they are HUMAN rights while Kasab is I dont believe human.

    3. Regarding our honarary PMs statement Trust but verify I would like to remind him of China which said "Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai" to the late Shri. Nehru and then attacked India. We have always trusted people and have paid the price for it. Though fiction one film dialogue comes to my mind for Pakistan : Jo galti ek bar kare woh insan do bar kare woh shaitan aur jo galti bar bar kare woh Pakistan. Why after so much betrayal of trust we trust Pakistan and so for Pakistan the proverb given by Ashu Laato ke bhut baaton se nahi mante is true completely.

Attacking a nation with weapons seems an outdated way of getting things done. We are living in 21st century, and when so many countries in the world possess nuclear power, it is desirable that there is no war. Not to mention even Pakistan has got nuclear power, and Pakistani leaders compared to their Indian counterparts are much less thoughtful.

Chinmay quoted a very good example of Israel, they are fearless. To add to his details, I'd say most of their land is occupied by desert and still they are exporting most of the agricultural products. They're surrounded by enemies, Palestine was much powerful compared to Israel, but still Israel is standing tall. Their detective agency Mosad has worked wonders and has proven to be better than FBI.

Japan is the only victim of nuclear explosion. A country, merely a collection of islands, maximum prone to earthquakes, is a global leader in terms of technology, let it be anything, electronics, automobile, software; they are self reliant.

So, what is the difference among Indians, Israelis and Japanese?

Forgetting all other issues, they work for the progress, pride and integrity of the country. I am not trying to curse ourselves, but one should always compare oneself with the people who are leading, that's how we can move ahead. The zeal to progress should never die.

  8. @ Chinmay,

Frist thing is that INDIA never goes to any country to ask for any actions. INDIA has its own thinking and it acts accordingly only. INDIAN people should change their such mentalities for INDIA.

And i think you have not considered the word VERIFY. Our all previous leaders had only trusted pakistan but not verified their actions.

    ReplyDelete
  9. @ ashutosh,

There is no single criterion to compare anything either it is a country or a person. All have different circumstances and every one is best at its own position at a particular point of time. Each country has different geography, different social and political culture , natural resources etc. So there is no meaning of comparing. If one weants to compare it has to compare with oneself only over a period of time. You can't compare US with INDIA. India has passed only 50 years of independence and US was enjoying the same from 200 years.

And from the example of ISRIEL we should learn how it had developed itself and how they had become self reliant in every sence.

"Attacking a nation with weapons seems to be an outdated way of getting the things done."

"Lato ke bhoot baton se nahi mante."

Don't you think these two statements are contradicting with themselves??????

    ReplyDelete
  10. @Arya
    They do not contradict.
Attacking a nation is no way feasible taking into account the economy, but at least all political relations should be brought to an end, the few actions taken by Vajpayee government should be taken now or rather they should be intensified. Why is Indian Ambassador still in Pakistan, why is Pakistani Ambassador still in India? Why still flights are flying between Delhi and Karachi or Islamabad?

These actions bring international pressure on Pakistan.

And so far as verifying trust is concerned, I feel like laughing at it. Hafiz Saeed is freed by Pakistan. It has been proven that he was the mastermind behind the blasts, and still Pakistan government has the guts to free him and simultaneously make fun of India's REQUEST.

Indian government will keep on REQUESTING Pakistan to hand over Hafiz, and Pakistan will keep on laughing at it, freeing all the terrorists, sheltering them, nurturing them and encouraging them to prove their mettle by attacking various places of India.

Dawood Ibrahim is sheltered in Karachi as claimed by so many journalists, one more mastermind behind serial bomb blasts in Mumbai. So many people are sheltered in Pakistan, still our leaders are not giving any ultimatum to Pakistan and making sure that terrorists are brought to India and punished.

These lame actions will certainly invite more and more terrorists to come and bomb India.

  11. This is a great article I came across today. It shows how we can disrupt Pakistan economically.
